Karen Hilliard

Karen E. Hilliard, 76, of Prospect passed away Thursday at Allegheny General Hospital.

She was born July 4, 1942, in Butler, and was the daughter of the late Earl Lepley and Ethel (Shields) Lepley.

Karen was a member of Prospect Presbyterian Church and a former member of the Order of the Eastern Star.

She had worked at Bobbie Brooks and had been a waitress at the Homestead Restaurant. She retired from Michael's Restaurant.

Surviving are a son, Eric (Kimberly) Hilliard of Prospect; two daughters, Erin (Brian) Craig of Pittsburgh and Ellin (Brian) Rue of Conroe, Texas; six grandchildren; one great- grandchild; and a sister, Joyce (David) Schweinsberg of Ellwood City.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Randall Hilliard, who died June 9, 2015.

HILLIARD — A memorial service for Karen E. Hilliard, who died Thursday, May 9, 2019, will be held at a later date with private burial.

Arrangements were entrusted to Young Funeral Home, Butler.
