The Butler County Symphony Orchestra will present a concert with the theme "Earth" at 7:30 p.m. Saturday in the Butler Intermediate High School auditorium.

Featured soloist will be the orchestra's principal oboist Gary Purifoy, who will play Vaughan Williams' "Concerto for Oboe and Strings."

HARMONY — An antiques show and sale has been added to the Harmony Museum's 20th annual WeihnachtsMarkt or German Christmas Market.The Nov. 13 and 14 festival offers shopping, entertainment, food and beverages reflecting the town's German heritage.The Yobp-Eckstein holiday display of a miniature log house village with O-Gauge railroad and trolley will be available for viewing.Youngsters can meet Father Christmas and try crafts, games and old-time toys at the Ziegler log house museum annex each day on Main Street.A large horse-drawn surrey will provide rides included in the admission price. GIBSONIA — Members and friends of Opus I Music Society are hosting a benefit concert of piano, organ, choral and handbell music at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 20 in Bakerstown United Methodist Church on Route 8.The concert will benefit Opus I's college music scholarship fund.Performers will include the St. Alexis handbell choir, the Ellwood Civic Chorale and members of the Art of Music and Dance Studio.Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for students and free for children age 10 and younger. PITTSBURGH — Tours of Clayton, the historic former home of the Henry Clay Frick, are centered around several themes.The mansion will feature tours themed on "A Gilded Age Christmas" from Nov. 19 through Jan. 2.
