Ken Harlan

Ken J. Harlan, 76, of Butler passed away Friday at Butler Memorial Hospital.

He was born Dec. 15, 1941, in Pittsburgh, and was the son of the late John A. Harlan and the late Frances Harlan.

Ken was a graduate of South Hills High School.

He served in the U.S. Army in Okinawa during the Vietnam War.

Ken retired after 20-plus years of service as a district manager for Sterling, Inc.

He was a member of American Legion Post 117 of Butler, and enjoyed cars, drag racing and fitness.

He is survived by his son, Jeff Harlan and his companion, Theresa Ivancik, of Butler; a daughter, Tracy Fraley and her husband, Russ, of Butler; his grandchildren, Alexis Fedokovitz and Zach Fedokovitz; and a great-granddaughter, Haidyn Hodge.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Gayle Harlan, whom he married March 19, 1965, and who passed away July 2, 2015.
