Margaret “Peg” Traggiai
Margaret “Peg” Traggiai, 97, of Cabot passed away Wednesday at her home.
Born April 15, 1918, in Claytonia, Pa., she was the daughter of Louis Gorencic and Josephine Kadunce Gorencic.
Peg had worked as a clerk and post mistress at the Cabot Post Office. She was a member of St. Joseph R.C. Church, where she was a Christian Mother, the Saxonburg American Legion Auxillary and the Cabot A & R. She enjoyed dancing, bowling, golfing, metal detecting and auctions.
Surviving are her son, Ronald (Pat) Traggiai of Plant City, Fla.; two daughters, Donna Bocchi of Cabot and Jane (Howard) Cooper of Cabot; her sister, Dorothy Shira of Warren, Ohio; eight grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Dario H. Traggiai on Feb. 28, 2006; one daughter, Karen L. Traggiai; one brother, Andrew Gorencic; one sister, Helen Fischer; and her great-granddaughter, Jacoba Allen.
TRAGGIAI — There will be no visitation for Margaret “Peg” Traggiai, who died Wednesday, Aug. 26, 2015.A memorial Mass will be at 10:30 a.m. Sept. 4 at the St. Joseph Church.Interment will follow at the St. Mary's Cemetery in Herman.Memorial donations may be made to St. Joseph R.C.
