The Butler Eagle Amateur Golf Open had 104 golfers signed up through Wednesday.

The 18-hole tournament takes place Sunday at Pheasant Ridge Golf Course with shotgun starts at 7:45 a.m. and 1:15 p.m.

Openings are available in both shifts, and golfers can still register by calling Bill Black at 724-283-8656 no later than tonight. Entry fee is $65.

Five former champions are in this year's field, including defending champion Chris Marron of Foxburg. Other former champs competing are Mark Young (2002, 1995), Chuck Young (2001), Black (1997) and Jim Hepler (1996).

Mark Young is the only two-time champion of the Eagle Amateur since it became an annual event in 1995.
