[naviga:h3]Lane restrictions set for Route 422[/naviga:h3]

SUMMIT TWP — Motorists on Route 422 on Friday will notice single-lane restrictions and periodic closings of the highway at its intersection with Bonniebrook Road.

The work to set beams for a new bridge over nearby Bonny Brook will run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. In the case of inclement weather or unforeseen conditions, the schedule may change, according to a news release from the state Department of Transportation.

The work is part of PennDOT’s Rapid Bridge Replacement Project.

The city public works department will sweep the following streets between 7 a.m. and 3 p.m. Wednesday.

Street cleanings are planned on North Monroe; North Cliff from East Fulton to East North; Franklin from East Jefferson to East Fulton; St. Paul; Linden; Cross; West Fulton; and West Pearl.
