Janice E. Staggers

Janice E. Staggers, 69, of Butler passed away on Monday at Butler Memorial Hospital.

She was born June 8, 1949, in Butler, and was a daughter of the late Charles Richard Philips and the late Rhoda “Marie” Lynn Philips.

Janice was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.

She worked as an RN for the Butler School District.

Janice enjoyed beach vacations, talking to her daughters on a daily basis and anything involving her three grandchildren or her church.

She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Ralph L. Staggers, whom she married on Oct. 16, 1971; two daughters, Melissa Hodinko and her husband, Doug, of Canonsburg, and Sydney Webb and her husband, Bill, of Morgantown, W.Va.; three grandchildren, Hayden Hodinko, Patrick Webb and Charles Webb; one brother, D. Richard Philips of Butler; and several nieces and nephews.

STAGGERS — Friends of Janice E. Staggers, who died Monday, Oct. 29, 2018, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, 124 E. North St., Butler.Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Trinity Lutheran Church, 120 Sunset Dr., Butler, with Pastor Joel A.
