Alex Ziegler had a home run and a double, and Thomas Bruce had a home run and a single to power Butler Township to a 10-0 victory over Clarion in the District 25 Little League (ages 11-and-12) playoffs Thursday.
Dalton Koebler pitched a strong game and added two hits, and David Tompkins doubled and singled for Butler Township.
With the win, Butler Township will compete in the championship game at 6 p.m. Tuesday at Butler Township's field against an opponent yet to be determined.

HERMITAGE — Robert Carbeau of Butler fired a 76 to capture the boys age-14 division at the Kings Family Restaurants Junior Golf Tournament Thursday at Tam O'Shanter Golf Course in Hermitage.Carbeau won by two strokes over Ryan Prokay of Grove City.
