Helen L. Sefton

Helen L Sefton, 94, of Butler, passed away Tuesday in the loving care of her family and VNA Inpatient Hospice.

She was born Dec. 30, 1922, in Grove City, the daughter of the late Morris Alexander and Sarah (Shoaf) McWilliams.

She was of the Methodist faith. She had worked at Butler Packing as a bookkeeper for 30 years. She enjoyed fishing, reading and cooking.

Helen was an avid Steeler fan, waving her Terrible Towel. She always cared about everyone else, neglecting herself.

She will be sadly missed by her nieces and their husbands, Dona and Dick Madison, and Sharon and Bob Ordy, all of Butler; her nephew, David Sankey, of Erie; and many other nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her two brothers, Calvin and Richard McWilliams; and her sister, Virginia Sankey.

SEFTON — Friends of Helen L. Sefton, who died Tuesday, Sept. 19, 2017, will be received from 5 p.m. until the time of the service at 7 p.m. Thursday at Young Funeral Home, 127 W. Jefferson St., Butler, with the Rev.
