Moniteau graduate headed to nationals

GENEVA, Ohio — Moniteau graduate Jacob Patton, a senior on the Westminster College men’s track and field team, has qualified for NCAA Division III Nationals in two events.

Patton is the first Titan, male or female, to qualify for nationals in the 400-meter hurdles. His school-record time of 53.28 seconds ranks 20th nationally. He also runs a leg of Westminster’s school record-settting 4x100 relay team. That mark of 40.74 seconds ranks ninth nationally.

The Division III Nationals take place Thursday through Saturday at SPIRE Institute.
