11:37 p.m. Thursday — David Codispot, 40, of Butler was arrested for driving under the influence on North Main Street hill. Police also cited Codispot for speeding.

Thursday — Police reported that charges have been filed against two people stemming from a June 24 theft at the St. Vincent DePaul Thrift Store. Krystal Ann Otto, 21, of Slippery Rock and Steven H. Dittmer, 31, of Butler are charged with theft, conspiracy and receiving stolen property.4:20 p.m. Wednesday — Brian Kendrick, 35, of Butler was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence on Route 422.

9:40 p.m. Wednesday — Anthony McCardle, 21, of Butler was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence on Route 68 near Neff Lane in Oakland Township.6:45 p.m. Wednesday — Donovan Broskey, 38, of Cabot was seriously injured when the speeding motorcycle he was driving crashed on Marwood Road in Winfield Township. Police said Broskey slid on the side of the motorcycle for about 100 feet before the bike hit a guardrail.Broskey, who was not wearing a helmet, was flown by medical helicopter to Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh with injuries police described as "major." His condition was not known this morning.Police noted that the motorcycle Broskey was driving had been earlier reported stolen from a Christie Road home in Clinton Township. Police said Broskey faces DUI and theft charges.12:26 a.m. Wednesday — Joshua David Geyer, 20, of Butler was arrested for suspicion of DUI at West Jefferson and Pillow streets in Butler.5:21 p.m. Tuesday — David G. Murphey, 40, of New Castle was arrested for suspicion of DUI on Interstate 79 in Worth Township.Monday — A blue and white, 1995 Yamaha Warrior all-terrain vehicle was stolen between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. from a Route 173 home in Slippery Rock Township.
