William Harrison 'Bill' Conrad

William Harrison “Bill” Conrad, 78, of Sarver passed away at 7:30 a.m. Thursday at his home.

He was born Oct. 7, 1934, in Vandegrift to the late Clarence Conrad and Alberta (Cooper) Conrad.

He was self employed.

Mr. Conrad was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps. Mr. Conrad was a life member of the NRA and enjoyed hunting, shooting, fishing and spending time with family.

Mr. Conrad is survived by his wife, Wanda T. Conrad, who he married March 1, 1966; two sons, William J. Conrad and his wife, Maxine, and Scott L. Conrad and his wife, Debbie; two daughters, Bobbie Hughes and her husband, John, and Dawn Wimer, all of Sarver; seven grandchildren, Levi Wimer, Cheyenne Conrad, Ethan Wimer, Caleb Wimer, Cordell Conrad, John Hughes and Daniel Hughes.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Will Conrad; his son-in-law, Ron Wimer; and his brother, David Conrad.

CONRAD — Friends of William Harrison “Bill” Conrad, who passed away Thursday, March 14, 2013, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at the Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, 124 E. North St. Butler. Funeral services will be immediately following at 8 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Charles King of Frontier Harvest Ministries officiating.Interment will take place in the family cemetery.
