Matthew R. Yandura

Matthew R. Yandura, 29, of Butler passed away Saturday.

Born Nov. 10, 1988, in Sewickley, he was the son of Mark A. Yandura and Verna M. Weiss Yandura.

Matt worked as a technical support representative for Armstrong Cable since 2015.

An avid Pittsburgh sports fan, he loved to cheer on the Steelers, Penguins and Pirates.

In his free time, he enjoyed playing video games, roller hockey and baseball.

He will be fondly remembered as kind, easy going and compassionate. He will be dearly missed by all.

In addition to his parents, Mark and Verna, he leaves behind to cherish his memory his maternal grandmother, Marilyn Weiss of Butler; his sister, Sarah E. Yandura of Copenhagen, Denmark; his loving companion, Courtney L. Ace and her 4-year-old son, Eivin; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins; and his two dogs, Kira and Murray.

Matt was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Frank Weiss; and his paternal grandparents, Leon and Helen Yandura.

YANDURA — A memorial visitation for Matthew R. Yandura, who died Saturday, July 28, 2018, will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at Boylan Funeral Home and Cremation Center of Connoquenessing Township, 856 Evans City Road, Renfrew.A funeral service will be held privately by the family.In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in his honor to the Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh Foundation, c/o Cancer Center, online at www.givetochildrens.org/donate, or call 412-692-3900.Expressions of sympathy may be shared with the family at www.boylanfuneralservices.com.
