Ethel B. Young
Ethel B. Young, 89, of Butler passed away Friday at the VNA Inpatient Hospice.
She was born Jan. 7, 1929, in Wingo, Ky., and was the daughter of the late Frank Mills and the late Jewel L. Lewis Mills.
Mrs. Young was a member of Meridian Presbyterian Church.
She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Mrs. Young liked playing cards, bowling and bingo.
She is survived by her son, Donald L. Young, and his wife, Marjorie, of State College; three daughters, Janice M. Reott and her husband, Robert, of Aliquippa, Deborah A. Palmer and her husband, Ronald, of Chicora, and Sharon Schneider and her husband, Gary, of Butler; her grandchildren, Ronee Ann Reott Haller and her husband, Michael, Ret. Major Daniel Palmer and his wife, Lynette, Ryan Reott and his wife, Lynn Reott-Dobbs, Nichole Palmer Cossu and her husband, Jason, Matthew Schneider, Jared Schneider and Kelsey Schneider; her great-grandchildren, Cassie Haller, Mark Haller, Jack Ryan Reott, Cassidy Cossu, Jason Cossu, Brandon Dobbs, Devin Dobbs and Megan Johnson; a sister, Ila Sue Ambruster of Ohio; and a number of nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Earl LeRoy Young, whom she married on Aug. 16, 1946, and who passed away on July 18, 2009; one grandson; four sisters; and one brother.
YOUNG — Friends of Ethel B. Young, who died Friday, May 18, 2018, will be received from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, 124 E. North St., Butler.Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the funeral home with the Rev. Dr. Stephen M.
