Ronald L. McFeaters

Ronald L. McFeaters, 60, of Clintonville passed away Wednesday at home.

Ron was born March 10, 1958, in Grove City, and was the son of Charles K. and Peggy Hollabaugh McFeaters.

Ron was married to Barbara on Aug. 8, 1998, and she survives.

Ron retired from Mercer Transportation in Barkeyville after 42 years of driving a truck.

Ron loved to be camping. He took many nature walks and hikes while on camping trips. He loved to sit and visit with his family and friends while drinking a cold beer and having a plate of good food. He was known to sneak in a nap or two while watching his favorite TV shows or football games. Many people knew him as Grandpa Sleepy.

Loved ones left to cherish his memory are his wife, Barbara of Clintonville; his children, Rhonda J. Gothe and her husband, Jason, of Wesley, Pa., Melissa Fergurson and her husband, Richard E., of Barkeyville, Ronald L. McFeaters Jr. and partner, Andy Lutz, of Clintonville; his stepdaughter, Stacey L. Moser and her partner, Ray, of Hamburg, Pa.; his grandchildren, Victoria and Dylan Gothe, and Richie Fergurson Jr.; his step-grandchildren, Kayla K. and Kelsey J. Kehl; his brothers and sisters, Richard McFeaters and his wife, Donna, of Jackson Center, Edward McFeaters of Barkeyville, Charles McFeaters Jr. and his wife, Gail, of Emlenton, Sharon Rowland and her husband, Randy, of Oil City, Susan Cameron of Greenville, and Lisa Bellotti and her husband, Greg, of Leeper, Pa. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Ron was preceded in death by his parents.
