Wanda T. Bonn, 97, a longtime resident of Middlesex Township, died Tuesday, May 10, 2022, in Bel Air, Md., after a long illness.

Born on Sept. 23, 1924, in New Kensington, she was the daughter of the late Bruno and Waltina Buncisz Kaminsky.

After graduating with honors from Plum High School, she was employed by Acme Protection Equipment Company in Pittsburgh, during World War II. Later, in addition to her active role as a mother and homemaker, she was a Realtor with Northwood Realty in Allison Park.

She was a former program chairwoman of the Middlesex Elementary School PTA, and a member of Holy Sepulcher Catholic Church in Butler, for more than 70 years.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Robert Bonn, who passed away in 1998; a daughter, Carol, who passed away in 1953; and a sister, Bernice Nutt, who passed away in 2006.

Her love and caring will be greatly missed by her four sons and their spouses, Robert J. and Rodican Rose Bonn of Oconomowoc, Wis., David R. and Marilyn Bonn of Middlesex Township, Douglas J. and Jean Bonn of Abingdon, Md., and Jeffrey P. Bonn of Essex Junction, Vt.; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and four nieces.

BONN — Friends of Wanda T. Bonn, who died Tuesday, May 10, 2022, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at SCHELLHAAS FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 5864 Heckert Road, Bakerstown.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Holy Sepulcher Church, with the Rev. Charles Bober as celebrant.

Interment will follow in St. Mary Cemetery, Lower Burrell, Pa..
