Lucille E. DeFoggi

Lucille E. DeFoggi, 92, of Butler passed away Friday afternoon at the Sunnyview Rehabilitation and Nursing Center.

Born in Butler on March 18, 1921, she was the daughter of the late Andrew and Anna Perifano Giacomo.

Lucille was a devoted wife and mother. She enjoyed playing bingo and baby-sitting children in her neighborhood.

She was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church and the altar ladies of St. Michael’s.

She is survived by two sons, Daniel A. DeFoggi of Butler and Ronald J. DeFoggi of Butler; one daughter, Mary Lou DeFoggi of Butler; three sisters, Mrs. Arlene Vernacatola of Apollo, Mrs. Marie McGuire of Butler and Mrs. Norma Sybert of Butler; and a number of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony J. “Tony” DeFoggi, who passed away Dec. 10, 1993; one brother; and three sisters.

DEFOGGI — There will be no visitation for Lucille E. DeFoggi, who died Friday, April 26, 2013. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Michael the Archangel R.C. Church. Burial will take place in St. Michael’s Cemetery.

The Martin Funeral Home Inc., 429 Center Ave., Butler, is in charge of the arrangements.
