BUTLER TWP — The Butler County Drivers License Center at the Point Plaza Shopping Center will be closed on Thursday.
The state Department of Transportation announced the one day closure, which was necessitated by the replacement of a utility pole on that day.
The pole project will deactivate power for the entire plaza Thursday.
Those with non-commercial drivers tests scheduled for Thursday should report to the West Kittanning location in Armstrong County at the Highlands Office Complex, 159 Butler Road, Suite 2D, Kittanning.
The Kittanning center or any center surrounding Butler County can accommodate any other needs of the motoring public Thursday, said a news release from PennDOT.
The Butler Drivers License Center will reopen Friday.

Residents should discontinue water use if laundry becomes stained.
