Judith “Judie” Ann Bortz, 68, of East Butler passed away on Sunday.

Judie was an organ transplant survivor for almost eight years. She loved her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was the wife of 50 years to Ralph Bortz Jr.; loving mother of Tammy Sue (Ron) Beilstein, Richard Lee Bortz, Selina Irene (Brian) Critchfield and the late Chance Wayne Bortz; devoted grandmother of Trista Ann (Jeff) Reott, Shyann (Michael) Nicole and Destiny Mariah Bortz, Ethan David and Riley Evelyn Critchfield, and Jocelyn Nicole Bortz; great-grandmother of Kaitlynn and Hailey Reott and Amelia Grace DiDonato; sister of John “Jackie” (Mary) Anderson, William “Bill” (Cheryl) Anderson and the late James “Jimmy” Anderson; and daughter of the late Gustav Edward and Mary A. Anderson (Madden). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
