Carl R. Smith Jr., 42, of East Brady, passed away Thursday, May 5, 2022.

He was born Aug. 21, 1979, to Carl Sr. and Peggy Smith.

Carl worked at Local Union 66 as a heavy equipment operator.

He enjoyed racing, buggy rides, heavy equipment, spending time with family and friends, watching TV with family and working on his race car with his wife and daughter.

Everyone will miss his big blue eyes and smile that could light up a room. And his bear hugs, sarcastic attitude and unconditional love!

He is survived by his wife of four years with whom he was together for 22 years, Brandi (Lloyd) Smith; two daughters, Krista Marie and Carly Lynn Smith; his parents, Carl Sr. and Peggy Smith; and close family and friends.

Carl was preceded in death by his grandfather, Carl Allen Smith; his stepgrandfather, Harry A. Smith; his grandfather and grandmother, Raymond and Naomi Hutchison; and his aunt, Tammy Smith.

SMITH — Friends of Carl R. Smith Jr., who died Thursday, May 5, 2022, will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at SNYDER-CRISSMAN FUNERAL HOME, 832 East Brady Road, Cowansville.

Additional visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home with Pastor Jerry Johns officiating.

Interment will be held in St. Mark’s Lutheran Church Cemetery, Adrian, Pa.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the funeral home.
