Carl Keith Wright

Carl Keith Wright, 83, of East Brady died Saturday at Sunnyview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Born Aug. 15, 1933, in Butler, he was the son of Robert A. and Helen Wade Wright.

A 1952 graduate of Union High School, Keith served as a corporal in the U.S. Army. He was a recipient of the Good Conduct Medal and the National Defense Service Medal.

On June 23, 1956, Keith married the former Janet Weibel. She survives.

He was employed as an electrician at Penreco in Karns City and retired after 32 years.

Keith enjoyed woodworking, making many items for his home and for family members. He made many flag cases and donated them to the families of deceased veterans. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather and lover of dogs.

Keith is survived by his wife, Janet Wright of East Brady; three daughters, Kina (Harry) Fink of East Brady, Joyce (John) Eltz of Cooperstown and Lisa (Greg) Weckerly of Bruin; and one son, Carl Wright of Powder Springs, Ga.

He also is survived by seven grandchildren, Heather, Laurie, Aaron, Nathan, Jacob, MaKayla and Olivia; two stepgrandchildren, Heather and Nick; two great-grandchildren, Ryleigh and Genevieve; one brother, Glenn (Mary) Wright; and many nieces and nephews.

Keith was preceded in death by his parents; his daughter-in-law, Debi Wright; one sister, Joyce Plunkard; and one brother, Earl Wright.
