Michael Michalisin

Michael R. Michalisin, 76, of Middlesex Township, formerly of Butler and Emsworth, passed away Tuesday.

He was the beloved father of Marjorie L. Berg of Glen Rock and Michael D. Michalisin of Clarks Summit; loving companion of Marge Wise of Middlesex Township; brother of Toni (George) Farah, Ron Michalisin, Judy O'Rourke, and the late Dave Michalisin, and proud grandfather of Noah, Hannah and Martha Berg.

Michael was a graduate of Avonworth High School, and he went on to become an award-winning sales representative with Nabisco Corp.

He loved sitting on the front porch smoking his beloved pipe, working in the yard, feeding the birds, solving crossword puzzles, golfing, and dancing.

Michalisin — The family of Michael R. Michalisin, who died Tuesday, Dec. 2, 2014, will welcome friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Schellhaas Funeral Home, 5864 Heckert Road, Bakerstown. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in the Holy Sepulcher Catholic Church, 1304 E.
