Charles “Chuck” T. Vaughan
Charles “Chuck” T. Vaughan, 83, of Butler passed away Monday at Butler Memorial Hospital.
Born Aug. 1, 1933, in Pittsburgh, he was a son of the late James and Mildred McCormick Vaughan.
He was a veteran of the Korean War, serving in the U.S. Army.
He was a member of Saint Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church.
He was employed as an auto mechanic at various garages, and he was also a driver for the Butler Blind Association.
He was an avid hunter and he loved to mow lawns.
He is survived by his wife, JoAnne Kudamik Vaughan; three children, Darlene Hall, David Vaughan and Dwayne Vaughan, all of Reedsville, N.C.; three brothers, Allen Vaughan and his wife, Loretta, of Placentia, Calif., Glen “Pete” Vaughan and his wife, Darley, of Sarver, and William Vaughan and his wife, Barb, of Vacaville, Calif.; one sister-in-law, Patricia Vaughan, of Franklin; and a number of grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Deborah Smithey; and two brothers, Robert Vaughan and Raymond Vaughan.
VAUGHAN — Friends of Charles “Chuck” T. Vaughan, who died Monday, Jan. 2, 2017, will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Martin Funeral Home, 429 Center Ave., Butler.A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday at Saint Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church.Burial will take place at Saint Michael's Cemetery.The bereavement group of Saint Michael the Archangel Parish will meet at 3 p.m. Friday at the funeral home to conduct a scriptural wake service.The family requests memorial donations be made to Saint Vincent DePaul Society, 146 N.
