[naviga:h3]Club helps with cleanup at library[/naviga:h3]

PROSPECT — Members of the Rotary Club of Portersville-Prospect helped with cleanup efforts Saturday at the Prospect Library.

Volunteers weeded the stone garden, edged the lawn and trimmed bushes. A decaying picnic table was also replaced.

The library is preparing for summer activities, according to a news release.

ADAMS TWP — Community safety training will take place this week at Mars High School.

The Adams Township Police Department will conduct the training beginning today through Thursday at the school.

Numerous emergency vehicles may be present during the program. District officials are reminding parents and the community that this is simply a training program and not an actual emergency.

SLIPPERY ROCK — Slippery Rock University found its way into another tops list.

TheBestSchools.org ranked every accredited online master’s degree program in reading across the country before compiling a list of the top 30 in the nation. SRU finished at No. 23.
