Edward E. Eppinger, 73, of Chicora passed away peacefully on Friday, May 6, 2022.

Known as “Ed,” he was born in Butler on March 10, 1949, the son of Margaret (Davis) Eppinger and the late David Eppinger.

Ed was a retired construction worker who enjoyed hunting, fishing, tinkering around the house, and most of all spending time with his family and friends. He was known to be loving and caring; a beloved husband and a great father. Ed was loved and will be forever missed.

He was the husband of Sandra (McMahan) Eppinger; father of Joseph and Chris McMahan; grandfather of Brandon and Hayley; great-grandfather of Christian; and brother of John (Sandi) Eppinger, Bonnie (Sam) Zurzolo, and Mary (Ken) Green.

Along with his father, Ed was preceded in death by his brothers, Raymond, David, and Richard Eppinger.

EPPINGER — Arrangements for Edward P. Eppinger, who died Friday, May 6, 2022, were held privately through the SPENCER D. GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 140 New Castle Road, Butler.
