David Wayne Brittner of Karlsruhe, Germany, formerly of Evans City, lost his battle to pancreatic cancer on June 1.

He is survived by his loving wife, Sabine (Martin) Brittner; his son, David Wayne Brittner Jr.; his mother-in-law, Heide-Rose Martin; five siblings, Teresa O'Malley, Howard (Charlene) Jr., Debbie (John), Daniel (Valerie) and Steven (Charlene); and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews, friends and neighbors, who dearly loved him.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Claire and Ruth Hoffman and Herb and Dolores Brittner; and his parents, Doris Brittner and Howard Brittner Sr.

BRITTNER — A memorial service for David Wayne Brittner, who died Friday, June 1, 2018, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at St. Peter's Lutheran Church, 202 Van Buren St., Evans City, with the Rev. Brandon Johns officiating.
