Plutyk

Ethel E. Plutyk, 94, of Saxonburg, passed away on Friday, May 6, 2022, at Good Samaritan Hospice.

Born June 20, 1927, in Hawthorne, Pa., she was the daughter of Floyd Hilliard and Dora Sheffler Hilliard.

Ethel was a homemaker, devoted wife to her late husband, Willis E. Plutyk, and loving mother to her eight children.

She was a member of the Nazarene Church in Curtisville.

Ethel enjoyed going on outings with her daughters, playing bingo and spending time with family and friends. She loved having her family all together, especially for holiday dinners. Ethel was loved by everyone who met her.

Ethel is survived by her children, Edward (Sylvia) Plutyk of Sarver, Robert Plutyk of Saxonburg, with whom she lived, Richard (Karen) Plutyk of Saxonburg, Fredrick (Tancie) Plutyk of Saxonburg, Donna Stello of Tarentum, Sandra (Tim) Flis of Gibsonia, and Brenda (Robert) Daubner of Saxonburg.

She was blessed with 13 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great-grandchildren.

She also is survived by her brother, Alden (Nancy) Hilliard, of Saxonburg.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Willis E. Plutyk; her daughter, Carol S. Kobik; her son-in-law, Eugene Stello; four brothers, Clyde Hilliard, Claire Hilliard, Kenneth Hilliard and Lawrence Sheffler; and two sisters, Alberta Benton and Bernice Dawson.

PLUTYK — Friends of Ethel E. Plutyk, who died Friday, May 6, 2022, will be received from 3 to 7 p.m. Monday at FOX FUNERAL HOME, 410 W. Main St., Saxonburg.

Services will follow at 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home with Carmen Shullo officiating.

Private burial will be at Oak Grove Cemetery in Clinton Township.
