John Edward Sauerland
John Edward Sauerland, age 29, of Ellwood City passed away Saturday.
Born in McCandless Township Jan. 17, 1988, he was the son of David and Maureen Patton and the late Samuel B. McSwaney.
A graduate of Freedom High School, John had worked as a cook for Bravo.
Surviving are his parents, David and Maureen Patton of Ellwood City; his son, John Richard Sauerland; his grandmothers, H. Eleanor McSwaney of Valencia, and Renee Yates of New York; his grandfather, Robert Patton of Butler; his sisters, Rachel Patton of Ross Township, and Sara Patton of Monaca; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was the uncle of Rayna, Olivia and Logan Headley.
He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Samuel C. McSwaney and William D. Sauerland; and his grandmother, Diane Grossman.
