Nina L. Cable
Nina L. Cable, 92, of Harmony passed away Saturday at Good Samaritan Hospice in Marshall Township.
Born Sept. 17, 1925, in Lancaster Township, she was the daughter of the late Titus Peffer and May King Peffer.
Nina was a member of the Grace Church of Harmony. In her earlier years, she enjoyed hunting and snow skiing. Nina enjoyed sewing, gardening and volunteering her time with the Special Olympics.
She took care of her daughter with special needs, Betsy, for over 52 years.
Nina also enjoyed cooking meals for her family. She will be dearly missed and fondly remembered.
Nina leaves behind to cherish her memory her children, Emil B. Cable and his companion, Terrie Craig, Nancy L. Cable, Betsy S. Cable and Jeffrey L. Cable and his wife, Kimberlee, all of Harmony; her grandchildren, Ian Cable and his wife, Alicia, Jared Cable and his wife, Caitlan, Marlee Sangermano and her husband, Jacob; her great-grandchildren, Margot Sangermano and Siera Cable; her brother, Daniel Peffer of Zelienople; her sister, Gyla Schnauffer of Gibsonia; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Nina was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Robert L. Cable who died Nov. 10, 2003; her stepbrother, Ira Peffer; her brothers, James, Ralph, Benjamin and Robert Peffer; and her sisters, Jean Miller and Stella Smaley.
CABLE — Friends of Nina L. Cable, who died Saturday, March 3, 2018, will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Boylan Funeral Home, 324 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople.A funeral to celebrate Nina's life will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Peter J. Everett and Pastor Mark Sentell co-officiating. Nina will be laid to rest at the Greenlawn Burial Estates in Butler.Memorial contributions in Nina's honor may be made to Special Olympics of Butler County, P.O.
