McAvoy

Lois M. McAvoy, 81, of Zelienople, passed away on Wednesday, May 4, 2022, while under the care of Harmony Haus Senior Living in Ambridge.

Born Sept. 17, 1940, in Zelienople, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Emma McClelland.

Lois is survived by her daughters, Cyndi L. King of New Brighton, Kimberly S. McAvoy of Chester, Va., and Lori A. (Daniel) Geist of North Sewickley Township; her grandchildren, Kayleigh (Rob) McCann, Casey (Nick) Romeo, Tayler Geist, Ethan Geist and Steven (Adrian) King; her great-grandchildren, Lincoln McCann and Kaden Romeo; and her siblings, Molly Wilson, Carol Summerville and Harry McClelland.

In addition to her parents, Lois was preceded in death by her husband, Edward J. McAvoy; and nine siblings.

MCAVOY — Friends of Lois M. McAvoy, who died Wednesday, May 4, 2022, will be received from 4 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 6 p.m. Friday at BOYLAN FUNERAL HOME, 324 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople, with the Rev. Allan Drake officiating.

Lois will be laid to rest at English Lutheran Church Cemetery.
