Joyce Dindinger

Joyce Lorraine Dindinger, 74, of Slippery Rock, passed away at her residence on Tuesday, May 3, 2022.

She was born in Westmoreland County on Jan. 24, 1948, to Stanley Joseph Wielobob and Mildred Paukoucek Wielobob.

She married David G. Dindinger in 1967.

She graduated from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.

She loved teaching, and worked as a substitute teacher and a semi-permanent teacher in northern Allegheny County.

She enjoyed crocheting and cooking.

She was of the Lutheran faith.

Survivors include her husband, David, at home in Slippery Rock; two sons, David G. (Jennifer) Dindinger of Spartanburg, S.C., and Dr. Donnald L. “Don” (Susan) Dindinger of Bedminster, N.J.; her brother, Allen Wielobob of Pennsylvania; four grandchildren, Amy and Tyler of South Carolina, Ashley of California, and Aaron of New Jersey.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

DINDINGER — Per her wishes, there will be no public services for Joyce Lorraine Dindinger, who died Tuesday, May 3, 2022.

Arrangements by SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 421 New Castle St., Slippery Rock.

Memorial contributions may be given to the Slippery Rock Fire and Rescue Service, P.O. Box 117, Slippery Rock, PA 16057.
