Edith M. Poshard
Edith M. Poshard, 77, of Jackson Township passed away Monday while under the care of UPMC Passavant Hospital in McCandless Township.
Born Jan. 16, 1941, in Darlington, Beaver County, she was the daughter of the late John Bruce and Etta May Elsheimer Bruce.
Edith was a member of the Women of the Moose, Harmony Chapter 924.
She enjoyed the outdoors and loved to camp. She also enjoyed cooking.
Above all, she loved being a wife, a mother, a grandmother and a great-grandmother. She will be dearly missed.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her husband, James A. Poshard Sr., whom she married on Dec. 28, 1991; her children, Debbie Pace and her husband, Robert, and Diane Cunning and her husband, Mark, both of Atlanta, Ga.; her stepchildren, James A. Poshard Jr. of Zelienople, Vandy Poshard of Ellwood City, Lenore Tonti and her husband, Steve, of New Sewickley Township, Christina Poshard Marks and her husband, Denis, of Lake Mary, Fla., and Cathy McMaster and her husband, Guy, of Zelienople; her 10 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sons, Michael Lane and Howard Miller.
