Austin Leffler had a home run, a triple and four RBI to power Saxonburg to a 7-6 victory over Natrona Heights in the first game of a doubleheader in Eagle County League baseball Wednesday atSlippery Rock University's Critchfield Park.

In the nightcap, Saxonburg allowed only one hit in a 2-0 triumph.

A three-run homer by Nick Glesk in the first inning of the first game got Natrona Heights rolling, then a three-spot in the top of the sixth gave the team a 6-4 lead.

Saxonburg countered with three runs in its half of the sixth to take the lead.

Curt Schnur pitched the seventh inning to earn the save, then pitched the first five innings of Game 2 to pick up the win, allowing just a single to Josh Abati in the third inning. He struck out seven and walked one.
