Kim D. Kelly

Kim D. Kelly, 53, of Muddy Creek Township, passed away Monday at VNA Inpatient Hospice in Butler.

Born in Grove City on Aug. 10, 1964, he was the son of Nevada Hall Kelly and the late Burton Franklin Kelly.

Kim was a graduate of Slippery Rock High School. He proudly served our country in the U.S. Army from Jan. 31, 1984, to April 4, 1988. He worked for Butler Refrigerated Meats.

Kim was a past master of Harmony Masonic Lodge 429, where he enjoyed the fellowship. He was also a member of the Scottish Rite of New Castle and a member of the American Legion Post 474 in Zelienople.

He enjoyed hunting and fishing, but above all, loved spending time with his family and friends.

On Aug. 29, 1992, he married his loving wife, Laurie Guillard Kelly, at Zion Lutheran Church in Harmony, and she survives. Also surviving is his daughter, Tiffany Lynn Shannon of Carey, Ohio.

Additionally surviving are his mother, Nevada Hall Kelly; his brother, Burton Kelly and his wife, Lory, of Slippery Rock; his sister, Debbie Croup and her husband, John, of New Castle; five nieces and nephews, Matthew Croup, Sarah Croup, Burton Kelly, Timmy Kelly and Michael Guillard; his father-in-law, Robert Guillard and his companion, Betty Black; and his brother-in-law, Robert Guillard Jr. and his wife, Jane.

In addition to his father, he was predeceased by his mother-in-law, Doris Guillard.

KELLY — Friends of Kim D. Kelly, who died Monday, July 16, 2018, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Boylan Funeral Home, 324 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople. A Masonic service will be at 6:45 p.m. Thursday.Additional visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11 a.m. Friday at Zion Lutheran Church, 557 Perry Highway, Harmony.Kim will be laid to rest with military honors at the Zion Lutheran Church Cemetery.Memorial donations may be made in Kim's honor to the Memorial Fund at the Harmony Masonic Lodge #429, 330 E.
