The Grove City College football team's defense stopped Kings Point halfback Cameron Amigo at the 1-yard line on the game's final play, securing a 14-6 road win Saturday.

Grove City took the lead with a 5-yard scoring pass from freshman quarterback Andrew DiDonato to senior split end Scott Fichter.

Senior free safety Clay Piper accounted for the team's other score, returning a second-quarter interception 95 yards.

Grove City (3-7) won its final two games of the 2006 season.

Women's BasketballThe Butler County Community College women's basketball team featured five players scoring in double figures in a 73-31 rout of Luzerne County Community College on Sunday.Michelle Ritchey, Ashley Nocera and Brittany Beatty all scored 12 points to lead the Pioneers.
