PITTSBURGH — William Bodine Jr., director of Pittsburgh’s Frick Art & Historical Center, plans to retire at the end of June.

Board of Trustees chair David Brownlee says they understand but regret the decision, since Bodine’s tenure has been a period of great progress for the institution. Bodine became director of the Frick in 2002.

The permanent collections at the Frick include fine and decorative arts, cars, carriages, and historic buildings.
