E. Marie Kulin
E. Marie Kulin, 93, of Butler passed away Thursday at the Fair Winds Manor in Sarver.
She was born Feb. 13, 1924, in Butler, the daughter of the late Raymond Miller and the late Myrtle McCall Welchonce.
Marie worked for several years for the Butler Area School District as a food service worker. She spent many years teaching Sunday school for preschoolers at the East Butler United Presbyterian Church. She was a member of Woman's Christian Temperance Union, where she had been the Butler County president. Marie was very proud of taking Greek classes at the Cornerstone Church. She enjoyed fishing, camping, traveling and was an avid reader.
Surviving are her three daughters, Ruth Lynn of Green Valley, Ariz., Gloria (John) Sabatelli of Butler and Edie (James) Buss of Renfrew; two sons, Alex “Arkie” (JoAnna) Kulin III of Butler and Ron (Anne) Kulin of Corry, Pa.; 10 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Alex Kulin Jr., who died Feb. 12, 2011; two sisters; two brothers; one son-in-law; and one grandson.
KULIN — Friends of E. Marie Kulin, who died Thursday, April 6, 2017, will be received from 2 p.m. until the time of funeral service at 4 p.m. Saturday at the Young Funeral Home, 127 W.
