Sandra L. Bombara

Sandra L. Bombara, 71, of Cabot passed away Saturday at the Good Samaritan Hospice Unit at Concordia in Cabot.

Born Dec. 27, 1945, in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of Edward Leathers and Gladys Schofield.

Sandra had worked as a postal carrier for U.S. Postal Service, retiring in 2007 after 27 years of service.

She was a member of St. Joseph R.C. Church and the Red Hat Society. She enjoyed bowling and volunteering at the South Butler Community Library, and she was a member of several card clubs.

She was great mother; grandmother, great-grandmother and friend to all.

Surviving are her children Alan (Marie) Bombara of Mesa, Ariz., Donald (Lou) Bombara of Sarver, Diane (Regis) Weleski of Fenelton and Linda (fiancé, Mike Gutonski) Boldy of Tarentum; her brother, Larry (Marcy) Leathers of Butler; eight grandchildren, Anthony, Bobby, Heather, Aaron, Kayla, Megan, Amanda and Rachell; and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Charles J. Bombara, on Dec. 7, 1997; and one grandson, Kyle Bombara, on May 30, 2005.

BOMBARA — Friends of Sandra L. Bombara, who died Saturday, June 10, 2017, will be received on from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday and 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Fox Funeral Home, Saxonburg.A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday at the St. Joseph R.C. Church.Interment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery in Herman.Memorial donations may be made to the South Butler Community Library, P.O.
