Ronald P. Moore

Ronald P. Moore, 85, of Mars passed away Tuesday while under the care of St. John Specialty Care Center.

Born Jan. 31, 1933, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of the late Peter Moore and Cecelia Imhoff Moore.

Ron proudly served in the U.S. Navy as a radar technician during the Korean War.

He was a member of American Legion Post 219 of Evans City.

Ron was a former member of the Westminster Presbyterian Church in Evans City.

He was a loving father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered.

Ron leaves behind to cherish his memory his daughters, Rhonda J. (Gregory) Muska of Lock Haven, Tamara (Jeffrey) Gutshall of Butler, and Paula Donnel and her companion, Jerry Jackson, of Evans City; his grandchildren, Benjamin (Stefphane) Gutshall, Kelley Gutshall, Stephen (Nicky) Donnel, Samantha Muska and Savanah Muska; his great-grandchildren, Sarah and Joshua Donnel; and his sisters, Adella (Jim) Barr of Mars, and Marlene Measel of Evans City.

In addition to his parents, Ron was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Jean Moore, who passed away on Sept. 28, 2011; and his two brothers, Norman and William Moore.

MOORE — A memorial service for Ronald P. Moore, who died Tuesday, Jan. 1, 2019, will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2019, followed by full military honors, at Butler County Memorial Park, 380 Evans City Road, Butler.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Boylan Funeral Home, 116 E. Main St., Evans City.
