The Class AAAA stars will play the Class AAA stars at 4 p.m. The Class AA stars play the Class A stars at 1 p.m.
WASHINGTON, Pa. — Mars graduate and Washington & Jefferson sophomore pitcher Tyler Dean was the winning pitcher in the Presidents' Athletic Conference championship game over the weekend.Dean worked six innings and allowed three runs on eight hits, striking out three in a 9-3 victory over Thomas More.Dean is 3-2 on the season with a 3.40 earned run average, 33 strikeouts in 39.2 innings pitched. W&J (30-11) plays Illinois Wesleyan in the Division III national tournament at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Terre Haute, Ind.
SLIPPERY ROCK — Slippery Rock University senior catcher Katie Saluga has been named first team All-Atlantic Region by Daktronics, Inc.The PSAC West Player of the Year, Saluga led the conference with a .434 batting average. She posted career-highs of 56 hits, 12 doubles, nine homers, 32 RBI and 25 runs scored.
