-The Pittsburgh Philharmonic series at BC3 will feature “Holiday Pops” on Dec. 8. In its 43rd season, The Pittsburgh Philharmonic is a volunteer orchestra with about 70 musicians from the tri-state area, ranging in age from 15 to 80.

Music director for the Philharmonic is Edward Leonard.

- The fall Student Art Showcase. continues through Dec. 3 in the Mary Hulton Phillips Gallery on the main campus.

The gallery is open 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays except holidays, and will also feature 25 selections from the BC3 Education Foundation’s permanent collection from mid-December through mid-January.
