Scott pitches no-hitter

Hunter Scott tossed a six-inning no-hitter, striking out nine and not issuing a walk as East Butler beat Center Township 11-0 at Kelly Automotive Park in legion action Thursday night.

Ryan Grady had three doubles for East Butler (10-6).

David Matson added two singles and Braxton Hildebrand had a triple for East Butler.

Meridian 7, Slippery Rock 6 — Ryan Lynn drove in Jefferson Ford with a double for the walk-off win.

Lynn was also the winning pitcher for Meridian, which also got a pair of hits and an RBI from Ford, and two hits from Nick Malis.

Kiski 21, Butler City 6 — Nick Sofaly singled twice and doubled twice to lead Kiski’s 20-hit attack.

Nate Kiebler added a pair of singles and was the winning pitcher.

Hayden Kretzer singled, doubled and drove in two runs for Butler City.
