Karen Davidson
Karen L. Davidson, 67, of Mars, passed away on Friday afternoon, Sept. 3, 2021, at Good Samaritan Hospice in Wexford.
Born in Butler on Feb. 15, 1954, she was the daughter of Roma Davis Park and the late Wayne C. Park.
A registered nurse, Karen had worked at a nurse educator for Butler County Community College for 10 years, at Kent State for two years and, finally, at Beaver County Community College for 22 years. She was a member of the Pennsylvania State Nurses Association board of directors.
She was a member of the Mars United Presbyterian Church, where she had served as an elder. She also had belonged to the Mars chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star.
Surviving are her husband, David L. Davidson, whom she married on Oct. 21, 1978; two daughters, Darcee Lyons (Nathan) of Adams Ridge and Brooke Manni (Drew) of Grand Rapids, Mich.; her grandchildren, Jane and Parker Lyons; her mother, Roma Park of Middlesex Township; a sister, Sheryl Toomey (Brian); and two brothers, Randy Park (Dara) and Roger Park (Susan), all of Middlesex Township; her mother-in-law, Myra Davidson of Mars; and nieces and nephews.
Davidson — Friends of Karen L. Davidson, who died Friday, Sept. 3, 2021, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home, 238 Crowe Ave., Mars.
Services and burial in West Union Cemetery, Pine Township, Pa. will be private.
