Trojanettes grab all-state honors

CRANBERRY TWP — North Catholic juniors Dacia Lewandowski and Alayna Rocco have received berths on the Pa. Sports Writers All-State Girls Basketball Team.

Lewandowski averaged 15.9 points per game and made first team. Rocco averaged 17.9 points per contest and was a second-team selection.

SR’s Brown gets 3 more victories

WASHINGTON, Pa. — Slippery Rock resident Brady Brown drove horses to three more wins during Thursday’s harness racing card at Hollywood Casino at The Meadows.

Brown guided Fit Fanatic to the $21,000 championship of the Margaret Provost Memorial Trot for 3-year-old fillies. He also drove Native Liberty to victory in a $7,000 Conditioned Claiming Pace.

His third win was with Livinginthedream in an $8,400 Claiming Handicap Pace.
