Robert Lee Stoner
Robert Lee Stoner, Sr., 70, of North Washington passed away at 9:10 p.m. Thursday at the Grove City Medical Center.
Robert was born March 15, 1945, in Butler.
He was the son of the late Robert R. Stoner and the late Dorothy Wolford Stoner.
Robert had been employed at Pullman Standard until it closed, and then he was a truck driver until his accident.
He loved horses, NASCAR and big trucks. In his early years, he raced stock cars.
Robert is survived by three daughters, Sandra D. Stoner (Tom) of Boyers, Donna Patterson (Joe) of Saxonburg and Robin King (Leslie) of West Sunbury; five grandchildren; and two great grandchildren. Also surviving are one sister, Mrs. Ed (Ruth) Woolcock of Oil City, and one brother, Donald L. (Vicki) Stoner of Butler.
Robert was preceded in death by two sons, Robert L. Stoner, Jr., and an infant.
STONER — Friends of Robert Lee Stoner, Sr, who died Thursday, Nov. 5, 2015, will be received at the William F. Young Funeral Home, 132 Main St., West Sunbury, from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday. Funeral services will follow at 9 p.m. with family friend, Richard Marshall, officiating.
