Haid

Mark G. Haid, 70, of West Sunbury, formerly of Pittsburgh, passed away Monday, April 25, 2022, at the Glade Run Lake boat launch in Valencia.

He was born Nov. 30, 1951, in Pittsburgh, and was the son of the late Regis Haid and Elizabeth (Miller) Haid.

Mark was a journeyman painter, having worked for the Department of Welfare, and retiring from Polk State Hospital.

He loved fishing and being with family and friends. He enjoyed watching fishing and travel shows on TV.

Surviving are his wife of 33 years, Ila Lombardo; his son, Josh Haid of Pittsburgh; his granddaughter, Brooke Lynn Haid; two sisters, Diane Reddington of Pittsburgh, and Jill (Mike) Vasos of Pittsburgh; his brother, Gregg (Ginnie) Haid of Pittsburgh; a sister-in-law, Laura Haid of Oregon; his brothers-in-law, Roger (Edie) Lombardo of Broadview Heights, Ohio, and Dave (Norma) Lombardo of Pittsburgh; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, Neal Haid.

HAID — Friends of Mark G. Haid, who died Monday, April 25, 2022, will be received from 1 to 3 and 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at YOUNG FUNERAL HOME, 127 W. Jefferson St., Butler.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 7, 2022, at the West Sunbury Church of Nazarene, with Pastor Tim Britton officiating.

Burial will be private.
