Saturday is the final day to pay county and municipal real estate taxes at a 2% discount in seven communities.

Residents of Butler, Callery, Connoquenessing, Karns City, Saxonburg, Valencia and West Sunbury have until Saturday to make their real estate tax payments to the Butler County Treasurer’s Office. Payment may be made via cash, check, money order or credit card, or residents may pay online.

Those interested in paying in person must make payment by 4:30 p.m. Friday at the treasurer’s office in the County Government Center if they wish to receive the discount. Mailed payments must be postmarked by Saturday to be processed at the 2% discount; those with a postmark after Saturday will be returned, unprocessed, to the sender.

Online payment may be made on the county’s website, butlercountypa.gov.
