Butler Twp

April 14 — Amy M. Schiebel, 43, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanor DUI related to a March 9 report of a woman asleep behind the wheel of a vehicle on Lehigh Street near Penn Avenue.

Police found Schiebel asleep in a still-running vehicle with her foot on the brake. Police said field sobriety tests showed she was impaired, and a later blood test showed marijuana and fentanyl in her system.

April 14 — Adam M. Ealy, 41, of Butler Township, was charged with two felony counts of making false statements during an attempted gun purchase Nov. 19, 2020, from Down Range Supply.

Police said Ealy was refused the gun after he failed to accurately report his criminal history on the form.

Cranberry Twp

April 13 — Cody M. English, 37, of Zelienople, was charged with misdemeanor DUI following a three-vehicle crash Feb. 23 on Freedom Road near Autumn Hill Drive.

Police said that after investigating they found English had driven into an oncoming lane and crashed into a dump truck. Police said English was taken to a hospital for treatment, where his blood was tested and showed clonazepam and fentanyl in his system.

April 12 — Joseph N. Savage, 29, of Cranberry Township, was charged with misdemeanor DUI stemming from a Feb. 27 report of an abandoned vehicle on Freedom Road.

Police found a heavily damaged vehicle with no one nearby. Police followed the vehicle’s registration to Savage’s home. Police said Savage’s face was bloodied, and a later blood test showed his blood-alcohol content at 0.194%. In Pennsylvania, the legal limit is 0.08%.

Jackson Twp

April 12 — Jerome W. Snyder, 60, of Zelienople, was charged with misdemeanor DUI following a four-vehicle crash April 2 at the intersection of Perry Highway and Lindsay Road.

Police said multiple people were injured in the crash. Police said Snyder was one of those injured, and field sobriety tests showed he was impaired. Police said a later breath test showed his blood-alcohol content at 0.182%, and in Pennsylvania, the legal limit is 0.08%.

April 12 — Heidi C. Thomas, 50, of Evans City, was charged with misdemeanor DUI related to a Feb. 12 report of reckless driving on Perry Highway near Cranberry Square Drive.

Police found the vehicle stopped along the road. Police said field sobriety tests showed Thomas was impaired, and a later blood test showed her blood-alcohol content at 0.138%. In Pennsylvania, the legal limit is 0.08%.

Slippery Rock

April 14 — Gage J. Keefe, 18, of Beaver Falls, was charged with misdemeanor DUI stemming from an April 3 traffic stop on Morrow Way near South Main Street.

Police stopped Keefe for making an illegal left turn. Police said field sobriety tests showed Keefe was impaired, and a later breath test showed his blood-alcohol content at 0.151%. In Pennsylvania, the legal limit is 0.08%.

State Police, Butler

April 13 — Jakeel L. Lay, 35, of Aliquippa, was charged with misdemeanor DUI following a single-vehicle crash April 9 on I-79 North near mile marker 78, Cranberry Township.

Police arrived and found Lay slumped over in his vehicle, which had been driven off the road. Police said field sobriety tests showed Lay was impaired, and a later breath test showed he had a blood-alcohol content of 0.117%. In Pennsylvania, the legal limit is 0.08%.
