[naviga:h3]Man stabbed at chancellor’s home[/naviga:h3]

STOUGHTON, Mass. — A man was stabbed during an early morning house party at the home of a Massachusetts university chancellor while he was out of town, police said.

The stabbing happened early Sunday at the Stoughton home of University of Massachusetts Boston chancellor J. Keith Motley.

The 20-year-old unidentified victim was taken to a Boston hospital. His condition was not available.

“I have learned about an incident that occurred at my residence last night and am very concerned about it as well as the health of the young man who was injured,” Motley said in a statement.

Police have not revealed the circumstances surrounding the stabbing or said whether they have any suspects.

MILES CITY, Mont. — A toy poodle who ran away after a car crash in eastern Montana has been reunited with his owners after managing to survive in severe winter weather for over a week.

LJ disappeared after LeRoy and Jorjan Woodward of Fairview, N.D., went into a ditch after hitting a patch of ice on Dec. 29. They weren’t seriously hurt.

More than a week after the crash someone spotted him about a half-mile from the crash site. He had lost some weight but was in good condition otherwise.
