Ellaura Shoop, 21, of Grove City, will have a reading and be signing copies of her book, “The Meer: Perilous Ground.”

The book signing will be from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. July 18 at Keystone Safari in Grove City.

The reading is set for 6 p.m. July 22 at the Slippery Rock Community Library at 6 p.m. July 22.

“Perilous Ground” is the first book in “The Meer Series.” It is middle grade fiction and champions themes of family values and coming of age.

Shoop graduated summa cum laude from Butler Community College in December 2020 with two associate’s degrees, one in English and one in psychology.
